Three factors affect the cost of a site.
1. The content of your website and how much information you provide yourself.
2. The hosting of your site.
3. How you keep your site up to date.
Content
The number of pages, their complexity and how much information you provide yourself will all affect the cost of your site.
For example, if you wanted to transfer an existing company brochure to a website, this would be cheaper than designing the site from scratch.
As a guide, this Loopholes site is five pages long and mostly text. It would cost around £600 to design and produce if you provided the text. A similar site that contained Flash animation would be around £900.
Domain hosting
Your website has to be kept somewhere. This is called hosting.
Hosting.
We will register your domain name ourselves, and your website will sit on our server. You will get e-mail addresses too.
Hosting and registration costs around £150 per year.
Maintenance
Prices, contact numbers and products do change, so you may need to add to, or amend, parts of the site. It's also important to keep your site looking and sounding fresh.
You may decide you need a maintenance service. This will give you the peace of mind of knowing that any site amendments you require are already covered. Search engine re-submissions are also included in any maintenance contract.
Our prices for maintenance start at £50 pcm.
These prices are just a guide, of course. Every business has differing needs.
